 High Securiry Windows

high security

Mylch’s high-security detention window system represents the pinnacle of our engineering capabilities. Engineered for institutional, tactical, and maximum-security environments, this system integrates heavy-duty structural integrity with advanced ballistic and forced-entry resistance. It is born in our R&D lab, designed to protect what matters most.

MAXIMUM PROTECTION. INVISIBLE BOUNDARIES.

ARCHITECTURAL AESTHETICS & FINISHES

While the interior core is engineered for maximum structural deterrence, the exterior envelope is entirely flexible. The system seamlessly integrates heavy-duty structural integrity with contemporary architectural profiles. Through our bespoke ETO (Engineer-to-Order) capabilities, the outer aluminum cladding can be customized in any RAL color, fluorocarbon coating, or anodized finish, ensuring high-security boundaries remain completely invisible within premium facades.

THERMAL EFFICIENCY & HYBRID CHASSIS

Traditional max-security profiles often sacrifice thermal performance for sheer mass. Our system redefines this paradigm with an advanced multi-cavity thermal break and non-asymmetric steel-aluminum hybrid chassis. Engineered to eliminate thermal bridging, this proprietary architecture effortlessly complies with stringent North American energy codes (NFRC/AAMA) and Passive House guidelines, delivering exceptional U-value performance without compromising structural integrity.

TAMPER-PROOF RIGOR & THREAT MITIGATION

Built upon preventative engineering, the frame chassis utilizes a fully concealed, internal stainless-steel fastening matrix. By eliminating exposed hardware and vulnerable glazing beads, the system achieves an uncompromising anti-tamper perimeter. The multi-layer internal envelope is highly adaptive, allowing seamless upgrades to accommodate ballistic-grade (BR5/BR7), blast-resistant, or extreme forced-entry glazing systems depending on localized institutional threats.

Institutional Reinforced Anchorages

For severe physical threat mitigation and critical institutional environments, the frame perimeter adapts effortlessly to cast-in-place reinforced concrete matrices. Our technical team custom-develops concealed heavy-duty structural anchorage profiles, high-tensile fast-installation bolt-ups, and embedded plate interfaces to deliver uncompromising anti-tamper perimeter load transfers.

Design Targets & Benchamarks

To guarantee uncompromising structural integrity in severe environments, the Mylch platform is engineered to align with the rigorous physical testing dimensions dictated by premier global compliance bodies. This includes testing structural response against multi-point heavy impacts, dynamic load transfers, and concrete/steel perimeter anchorage resistance under international protocols like ASTM F1592 Grade 1 standards.
